Great Music Tells Great Stories! Its just that simple. And people ask what made the 60s-80s so popular? It was the stories told by the various artists. People need to be able to relate to the Lyrics. And they need to be so much more than about a momentary encounter. Or physical pleasure. That’s not memorable music. Sorry, no one wants to hear about the last time you got drunk. Or when you were chased by the cops.
This is the irony of youth. Limited experience. And limited stories to tell. Also, its not the same when the story belongs to someone else. By the way, its my own personal experiences that have made my music both great and memorable. I won’t take credit. Besides, God gave me those experiences! And the grace to deal with them.
